2007/08 review: Sheray Thomas was the main reason for the Birstal Starwings to have their greatest season in the Club history, qualifying to the League Cup final vs. final winner Olympic Fribourg and reaching the play-offs semifinals game 5 vs. current and former Vice Champ Lugano Tigers. Thomas averaged a double-double in the 10 play-off games and also had a strong performance in the Swiss Cup quarterfinals eliminating Fribourg with 22 points and 12 rebounds (ev. 34).
