2006/07 review: After a strong Jr. year, the Sr. year was even better for McNeilly who played the off guard for the Privateers but also saw time as a 1. Named by coach Buzz Williams "Heart and Soul of the team". Set a career high 40 points vs. Denver on Feb. 10 ... named twice "Player of Week" and averaged 16,9 pts. in Sun Belt Conf. play.

SCOUTING REPORT

Fast, athletic, skilled and complete combo guard, left handed, with the ability to drive and shoot the ball with the best of the them. McNeilly, plays the off guard/point guard position mainly but can also be very effective in Europe as a point/off guard where he can use his great court vision skills and passing abilities ... Can create for himself and for others on the court ... a good player overall who was able in college to frequently score 20 or more points with a high of 40 points ... yet McNeilly, is not selfish, but very good at reading the defense and make good decisions on the court. The fact that he led the Sun Belt conference in minutes played per game shows the importance he had on the Privateers team as a Sr.
