2007/08 review: Finished the season strong under coach Demir reaching the play-offs after a very good second round. Was bothered during most of the season with a broken thumb and played with a cast on to still help the team achieve the season goal after a difficult first round. Has showed leadership, attachment and the capacity to help out against pain when most of the players would sit out and recover.

Strong big inside player ... plays hard on both ends of the floor ... has good hands to catch and finish ... can catch and dunk ... uses a jump hook on both ends or attacks the basket with strong moves ... handles ball well enough to create opportunities inside ... has a solid shot from mid range ... pretty good throw shooter ... good inside out passer ... rebounds well and likes to attack the offensive boards for a put back ... praised by Tom Crean, coach at Marquette, for his defense having named him "at the top of the program." ...
