TRANSACTIONS: K'ZELL WESSON TRANSFERS TO PAOK AND SHERAY THOMAS RETURNS TO BIRSTAL ! 

2007/2008 Greek League top rebounder K'ZELL WESSON transferred from AEK Athens to PAOK Salonicco where he signed a one year deal. WESSON, who will start his 9th season as a professional baller, has been the leading rebounder in most of the competitions he has played in. Power forward SHERAY THOMAS signed a deal with Birstal in Switzerland for the 2008/2009 season. The 6'8'' THOMAS has been one of the top three big men of the Swiss League last season. His current contract includes a 20'000 Usd. buy-out and a three day try-out possibility until September 15th 2008.

In the recent pre-season tournament, the "Sancor Seguros" Cup, AUSTIN MONTGOMERY showed all his potential as a strong candidate to an important international career. MONTGOMERY, who has played four pre-season games with Paysandu, has scored largely over 20 points in the last three games and earned MVP honors and a top three point shooting title in his first official appearence in the "Sancor Seguros" Cup. MONTGOMERY (Paysandu) lost the final vs. Olimpia of another Kingstone player, ERIC FREEMAN, who led his team to a win with 21 points and a strong overall performance. 

PRESTIGIOUS TRY-OUT WITH TURKISH CLUB "BESIKTAS" FOR YOUNG RICARDO FISCHER !

Young (17) talented brazilian-austrian point guard RICARDO FISCHER, signed by Swiss Club Sion-Herens, has been invited by Head Coach Hakan Demir for a 10 day try-out period with top Turkish Club "Besiktas". Young FISCHER, who according to Coach Demir is a very high level talent, will have the chance to practice with excellent names such as Mario Austin, Preston Shumpert and Mire Chatman. RICARDO FISCHER, who also participated in the 2008 Adidas Nations Edition in Sao Paulo (famous camp for top talents worldwide), has been discovered by Coach Demir in January when taking over the coaching job in Sion-Herens as he turned the previous coach bad record around (3 wins and 6 losses after the 1st round), into a winning record of 6 wins and 3 losses only in the 2nd qualifying to play-offs.

TRANSACTIONS: AUSTIN MONTGOMERY, KARON BRADLEY AND KAMERON GRAY SIGN DEAL !

Sharp shooting guard AUSTIN MONTGOMERY inks first professional deal with Uruguayan Club "Paysandu" for the 2008/2009 LUB season. MONTGOMERY is Kingstone's 5th player in the League. Us point guard KARON BRADLEY signed contract with Rhone Basket in Switzerland. The contract includes a buy-out term of 10'000 Usd. up to September 3rd for any other Club willing to sign BRADLEY on higher paying terms. Still in Switzerland, the Lugano Tigers have inked a one year deal with KAMERON GRAY, a US point guard who was named twice the NAIA final tournament MVP and was twice the National NAIA Champion. As a sophmore, GRAY starred at the Div.I level while at Cal-Poly in the Big West Conference.

TREVISO SUMMER LEAGUE: JEFF FAHNBULLEH AND OLLIE BAILEY SHINED !! ACCORDING TO MANY, THEY HAVE "ITALIAN A2 LEAGUE" POTENTIAL!

Power forward/forwards JEFF FAHNBULLEH (still available) and OLLIE BAILEY (signed but with an escape clause of 20'000 Usd. to Sept. 10th) have shined in the four Treviso Summer League games, gaining lots of positive comments from general managers and coaches while also seeing their names written on many notebooks. Both players have highlighted their aggressive style of play around the basket, but also showcased strong all-around skills, good scoring mentality and intensity while representing us very well. FAHNBULLEH (4 games/25 mpg: 18,75 pts, 8,4 rbds, 14,75 val.) and BAILEY (4 games/25,5 mpg: 16,25 pts, 7,5 rbds, 17 val.) will certainely be much heard of in the years to come.

TRANSACTIONS: ROD FLOWERS, ERIC FREEMAN AND RYAN BLANKSON GET CONTRACTS WITH SWITZERLAND AND URUGUAY !

US 6'9" power forward/center ROD FLOWERS, fully recovered from knee trouble makes a return to competition by signing an annual contract with Swiss Club Sam Basket Massagno. In Uruguay, for the 2008/2009 LUB League, Olimpia signs 6'9" power forward ERIC FREEMAN while Tabaré lands 6'7" RYAN BLANKSON. Both FREEMAN and BLANKSON had played in Uruguay before respectively at Salto during the 2005/2006 season and Tabaré during the 2006/2007 season. Our transaction period is quite busy and more signed deals are expected in days.
