THOMAS had contacts with Kingstone already last summer when playing for the Canadian National Team in Brazil. A former Kentucky Wildcat, the Canadian is rated by Kingstone as "the perfect power forward". He can play facing up and back to the basket, rebounds well, and is strong enough to play at a higher level than Switzerland. 6'9" 245 lbs. power forward/forward VICTOR RAMALHO, former starter and team Captain for the UTEP Miners at the center position, decided to choose Kingstone as his agent. RAMALHO came to the US four years ago to join South Plains College first and then UTEP. In his four year college career VICTOR showed tremendous work ethic and leadership to be named team Captain most of the time. Very strong defender, the former Miner has sacrificed some of his offensive talent to play the center position at UTEP. 6'9" 245 lbs. power forward/center HATILA PASSOS, one of the better big men in NCAA D.I basketball and former JUCO Tournament MVP and Champion, signed with Kingstone. PASSOS, who ended the season vice-leading the WAC in FG% at 641, averaged 10,8 points and 7,3 rebounds in 25,1 minutes of action. In 2007 the brazilian center was also a starter for the Aggies and under current NBA coach Reggie Theus, won the WAC title. Kingstone stated that although a player like K'ZELL WESSON is rather rare and unique, PASSOS could be very similar and will be heard of in the years to come.

KEVIN YOUNG and his team Bigua Montevideo, are the 2007/2008 Uruguayan League Champions, defeating 3-0 Macabi Hebraica in the play-offs finals with imposing performances of the Jamaican center who outscored and out rebounded all the players in the finals. In the three games played YOUNG averaged 20 points, pulled down 13 rebounds and had an evaluation of 29. Those numbers were similar during the season in the 37 games played where the 6'9" 265 pound center averaged an impressive 18,8 ppg, 13,6 rpg and an evaluation of 29,5, the league's top numbers in both evaluation and rebounding. Brazilian JOSE ROBERTO NARDI DUARTE (BETINHO) (in the photo with Fortitudo Coach Dragan Sakota) arrived in Bologna from Sao Paulo Brazil, on the 14th of February and is undergoing a test period with top European Club Fortitudo Bologna. BETINHO, a 196 cm combo guard (2/1), 19 years old, was a starter for the Brazilian U19 National Team at the last World Championships. Brazil finished at the 4th place. Kingstone has established in Brazil one of its current four area offices and shortly a report on Kingstone Brasil will be launched.

US power forward ERROYL BING is having  a strong come back for Swiss Club Olympic Fribourg with two good back to back games where he averaged 16,5 points per game. Vs. Birstal BING scored 17 points and added 8 rebounds in 33 minutes, while vs. Boncourt the power forward stayed on court 24 minutes and scored 16 rebounds while pulling down 4 boards. Missing from the courts since the beginning after a great pre-season, BING made it back just recently after a strong rehab schedule which has been successfull.

RADO RANCIK, ONE OF THE TOP 3 PLAYERS IN THE ULEB QUALIFICATION ROUND !!

CEZ Nymburk's Slovak forward RADO RANCIK played a great Uleb Cup qualification round finishing TOP 10 in six different statistical categories: (3rd) in the MVP ranking with an evaluation avg. of 21,60, (4th) in scoring with 20,5 a game, (6th) in defensive boards with 5,50 a game, (2nd) in steals with 2,70 per game, (8th) in fouls drawn with 5,10 per game and (9th) in FG made per game at 6,90. Finishing TOP 3 in the MVP evaluation is a great personal result for RANCIK who has showed, year after year, great perseverance in improving his game, making him today an Euroleague level forward.
